04. Javier Simán

Javier Ernesto Simán Dada (San Salvador, June 14, 1964) is an entrepreneur, business leader and politician from El Salvador.

He is one of the administrators of the Simán Group, belonging to his family, one of the most important in El Salvador, with a presence throughout Central America.

He was president of the Salvadoran Association of Industrialists (ASI) in 2011 and 20174 and in 2018 he was nominated as president of El Salvador by the Nationalist Republican Alliance (ARENA) political party, 5 but was defeated internally by the candidate Carlos Calleja.
